Nayi Pehchan Project – Empowering Women Through Skills and Livelihoods
As part of its flagship Nayi Pehchan Project, Raajratna Foundation, in partnership with
Youth4Jobs, supported physically challenged women through vocational training and
livelihood assistance. The initiative provided beneficiaries with sewing machines,
tailoring kits, and hands-on training designed to help them develop practical skills and
pursue sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The programme focused on equipping women with market-relevant tailoring skills that can
support self-employment and income generation. By providing both the necessary equipment
and practical training, the initiative helps beneficiaries turn their skills into
meaningful livelihood opportunities and take greater control of their financial future.
Beyond economic empowerment, the programme aims to build confidence, independence, and a
stronger sense of self-reliance among participating women. Access to vocational skills
and livelihood opportunities can enable beneficiaries to contribute more actively to
their families while improving their overall quality of life.
Through the Nayi Pehchan Project, Raajratna Foundation continues to promote inclusive
development by creating opportunities for individuals who face barriers to employment
and economic participation. The initiative reflects the Foundation's commitment to women
empowerment, skill development, entrepreneurship, and building a more inclusive society
where everyone has the opportunity to achieve sustainable independence.
